WHAT IS A BURSE?

The purpose of the Capuchin Burse is to fund the recruitment, education, training,  preparation and training of the New York-New England Province of St Mary of the Capuchin Order for service in the ministries of the Catholic Church.

 

Each complete Capuchin Burse helps to ensure that there will always be Capuchin Franciscans to minister to God’s people.  As SFO members we have a great stake in this, for many of our Spiritual Assistants are Capuchins.
